Lucernex supports Maryland flooding victims through relief fund donation.
DALLAS, TX-AUGUST 18, 2016
Lucernex is proud to announce a charitable donation to The Ellicott City Partnership. This donation came shortly after the devastating flash flood of July 30, 2016, that killed two people and damaged storefronts and streets in historic Ellicott City, one of Maryland’s oldest cities.
This cause is particularly close to the heart of Lucernex employees as President and CEO, Joe Valeri, lives in Ellicott City just a mile from the flooding. In addition, when in Baltimore for Lucernex business, the executive team enjoys visiting downtown Ellicott City, fondly referred to as “Old Ellicott City” in tribute to Ellicott City’s vast history, spanning back to 1772.
“Lucernex is a family company that strives to support and benefit the communities we live in,” stated Joe Valeri, CEO, co-founder of Lucernex, and Ellicott City resident. “We are glad we can help my hometown rebuild and recover from this devastating event.”
