Dress like a Cow at Chick-fil-A for Free Chicken Sandwiches

Don’t miss out on Cow Appreciation Day at area Chick-fil-A fast-food restaurants.

The annual event when children and adults parade through restaurants dressed like cows or sporting cow-esque accessories or attire is being held July 11, according to a news release from Chick-fil-A.

Customers who show their spots will receive a free Chick-fil-A entrée, such as an Original Chicken Sandwich, new Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich or breakfast favorite, the Egg White Grill. Children will receive a free Kid’s Meal. Salads, however, will not be redeemable.

Fans also can share pictures of their costumes using the hashtag #CowAppreciationDay.

All free-standing restaurants will have a Cow Appreciation Day Snapchat filter, so customers can share their experience with friends and family.

Cow Appreciation Day is celebrating its 13th anniversary.
